I am having trouble with some ActionScript I am doing for a website. My Flash file dynamically pulls content from a mySQL database via a PHP/Flash component and displays it in a textbox. I have a frame with actionscript in it which codes the scroller actions to it.
However, because the website content can be edited by my client, the content size will vary at times, and will vary between pages (as I am using this Flash file for each page but varying the content it pulls in by my SQL query). Can somebody tell me how I can modify my actionscript so that the scroller works out how high my content is rather than the textbox or mask, and decides how much it needs to scroll or that it doesn’t need to display the scrollers because there is not enough content?
