When you draw things in Flash CS3 IDE, you’re creating vector graphics.
I like to use another program, called Inkscape, which also lets you draw vector graphics. (Inkscape is the open source answer to Adobe Illustrator from what I hear). Since Inkscape has a few more advanced features than Flash (and I just like it more), I’d like to be able to create graphics in Inkscape and then import them into Flash.
Ive just learned that I cant do that. Why not? Both programs are vector graphics programs. Inkscape can save as .SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics). SVG is a standard isn’t it? Why does Flash not recognize the standard? Does Flash plan to support SVG anytime soon?
Please let me know If I’m missing something!
