OK, I have a slick flash presentation running @ 60 fps, embedded inside Director, but it runs like a dogs breakfast - looks like it runs at 5 fps. Is there any way to speed up this flash animation?

60 fps is hard enough for Flash to do alone. You can pretty much guarantee you’re not getting that in the first place. Sticking it in Director only makes it slower. And there’s nothing you can really do to make director play it any faster - if Flash is in director is will play slower than if it was playing out of director.
You just may need to reduce the complexity of your Flash movie
Well, the thing is, we did this before with another animation running at 60 fps, but we had to make the flash animation 80 fps to bring into Director as it ran the animation slower, and it worked fine in the end. But somehow its not working this time…
