I’m trying to upload my animation to YouTube, but I’m having a bunch of problems.
The animation is all tweens, with the most complex actionscript being “stop();” Exporting a .mov from Flash didn’t work (only a 500k file for 1.5 minutes of animation). When uploaded that to YouTube, it would say the file failed. Then I tried exporting a .avi and .mp4 from the .mov in Quicktime Pro. These files successfully uploaded to YouTube, but the playback was all screwy, with skipped frames, animation that didn’t complete, and generally poor playback.
I think the problem is that all the animation is with my symbols, as they are all movie clips that I have tweened. And then I have many movie clips within movie clips within movie clips. The animation is pretty complex, and I really don’t have the time to go through, change every symbol to a graphic, put it all in the main timeline, and then make sure the animation is good.
Does anybody have suggestions of other things I could try or how to fix this? Thanks.
