New to this forum and new to flash. In fact, I know zilch about flash, and even less about where this post should be posted in this forum. Please move if needed.
I have had a flash application built by a programmer and I now want to protect it as much as I can. The application is meant to be freely distributed and embedded in other websites at no cost to the user.
The application pulls data from my website, and displays it in the flash player.
The programmer told me that I should look into creating three levels, or types, of protection.
1 encryption
2 obfuscation
3 periodic key changes
My first question is does this seem like a reasonable approach?
Second, with the help of some software, is this something an average person who has general programming skills with php/html, could do?
Last question, what software would forum members recommend to acclomplish this?
Thanks
