Sorry to bring this issue to you, but Adobe seem inept at offering any reasonable sales advice.
I want to buy Flash. I currently live in Shanghai and have a british bank account. I look at the website, and see that Flash sells for vastly different sums of cash depending on where you live. I also notice that the download-able version is more expensive than the physical - what’s going on with this?
Ideally, I’d like to download the cheapest version available… obviously, it’s not a cheap product. Seems preferable to download the US version, seeing as it’s the cheapest and also the download rate will be ‘good’ accessing from Shanghai.
Can anyone tell me if there are any hidden catches here?
And a last question, but perhaps the most important -
I don’t have tons of cash, should I wait for CS5? I’ve heard a lot of stuff about CS4 and some of it not so good. I guess we don’t know the release date for CS5 and it may be a while yet… but, could anyone offer some solid advice?
