I’ve been using flash for a long time and there is this issue that started, I think, in CS4. No major flaw but very inconvenient.
This is the thing. When I hit CTRL-Enter to test my movie the test/preview window does not have the correct size and does not always stay on top.
When I hit CTRL-Enter the first time I get this:

The preview window does have the correct height but is too narrow. I drag to make it bigger, close the window and hit CTRL-Enter again, now it has the correct size.
But… now it will not stay on top :s In this screenshot you can see that my actions panel is on top instead of the preview window.
No matter what I do, drag it around, resize it, click other panels, maximize and minimize the whole IDE, nothing helps. Yeah, a complete restart of the IDE does maybe but the isssue keep coming back.
Currently I’m working in CS6. I’m using a dual monitor setup on windows 7 and my card is an Nvidia Quadro FX4600. But I also had this issue on Win XP using another card. The IDE is floating across both monitors or maximized to both monitors, same issue. I’m having this issue like 50-75% of the time when using flash
This is driving me nuts, what’s the problem and how can I fix it ?
