Im trying to use this flash detection script from this site

I have put this code in a index.html page, I wanted so that if people have flash they will go straight to the flash.html and if not to noflash.html that explains they dont have the flash player.
I remove the flash player from my system to test. Instead of being directed
to noflash.html I just get a error from the browser. Is this the right set up to use.
