what is the best flash (and browser) detection script available? and where would i find it?
when someone sees a popup window telling you to get flash,
they wont get it.
They want to have a button pressed which leads them to a flash download.
right. but i don’t want to bug someone who already has flash installed with saying “you need blahblah, click here to get it”
i want to detect if they have flash
if so, send them to flash stuff
if not, send them to html saying they need to get flash player and give them that button you say they like so much.
no open dreamweaver and go to behaviors. select check plugin in.
the rest is too easy to explain and it works great. i use it in all my flash sites
get the macromedia deployment kit which is a extension for dreamweaver, its the best and easiest that ive used so far and t works wonders go here and get it
