Flash Developer - Herndon, VA

Designs and develops multimedia training products for CD-ROM and web-based applications. Participates as the programming member of a multimedia instruction design team consisting of instructional designers, graphics artists, and subject matter experts. Executes the design following storyboards and using authoring tools to incorporate media to create interactive multimedia instruction. Designs the user/computer interface, develops branching and navigation, and the interface between the courseware and the learning management systems.
Should have 2 or more years experience working with “CD-ROM” and “WBT” instructional media projects.

Should have knowledge and experience with the “Instructional Systems Development” methodology, “SCORM”, “Section 508”, multimedia authoring tools, ***“Flash ActionScript 1.0 & 2.0”***, HTML, and XML. Should have knowledge/experience with software and programming techniques that support synchronous and asynchronous instruction. Employee will work well in a team environment with multidisciplinary developers. Problem solving with minimal supervision.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
