I want to make some flash animations for the big screen.
We had a film festival here last week, and my beautiful animation that looked great and clear on my computer and on my TV was washed out and blurry on the big screen.
I had used the document size relevant for TV (720x576 px), not finding one for cinema, and thought that as it was that size for TV, surely a projection wouldn’t make a difference. Oh how I was wrong.
Sooo, now I am thinking that maybe I could just double that TV resolution (so it would be 1440x1152 px) and that would work? but now it is a huge artboard I am working with and its a bit… cumbersome.
so, am i doing the right thing, or is there a better way? has anyone else made flash for cinema? Everyone else I know does things in After Effects, but I love Flash and want to stick to animation through this program.
I’d love to hear what you have to suggest.
