Simple question. Simple answer? How do you make good-looking flash animated water? I dont want that silly reflection thing that just makes simple waves from top to bottom or side to side. I have done that. Doesn’t look right. I want a water animation that closely resembles water in repetative loops of water, such as in video games (i.e star wars galaxies, everquest 2, morrowind…) where the water doesnt move in a general direction but sits idle with slight waves moving a current which seems just randomly through the water. Any ideas? Any help? references to tutorials that may be the right idea?

the very goofy lookin water with slight riples in it is the water im looking to replace with a nicer, more eye-friendly version. get the idea?
