How does the contest work?
You make a movie, add the FlashGem logo and button to it. You submit it to NewGrounds.com and hopefully to FlashGem too. The score and possible awards on NG determine your rank in the contest. This contest was designed so everyone has a chance of winning prizes. Even an entry with a score of 3.00 will earn a prize! For more details about the rules, please visit the contest page.
What is FlashGem anyway?***
FlashGem is a reliable, fair community Flash site that believes in fair sharing of advertising revenue made from Flash Movies and Games. Unlike a lot of other Flash entertainment sites, FlashGem believes the author is the most important element. FlashGem pays Flash authors 50% of ALL advertising revenues! This is a golden opportunity to earn some money through your hobby - making Flash movies. You might want to submit your older movies/games to FlashGem for some extra money!
When does the contest end?
The contest ends on the 31st of August 2006. All prizes will be distributed within a month after the contest end through PayPal or a Bank Wire transfer.
Are you reliable?
Of course, FlashGem was created by Flash developers for Flash developers. FlashGem is doing whatever it can to help the Flash community - this contest is an example. I, Asvegren, have been making flash for quite a time now. I understand how hard it is to trust a site with money but rest assured we have no interest in scamming you.
