Flash & MSPlayer Two great flavours that don't go great together?

Been told this isn’t possible but I’m still curious enough to explore it a bit more. What i want to do is to add a function to a flash mp3 player that calls up a MSPlayer radio feed and plays it via the player. Now I’ve been told that you can’t do anything with MSPlayer in Flash. Seems to me that essentially what you’d be doing is using flash as a skin for the payer. What are your thoughts??
