I’ve been working with Flash MX 2004 to write a program, and to save time I thought it would be a great idea to use the component combo box to save time. However, the empty Flash file (it actually had 3 combo boxes), and 200 lines of actionscript was 55k! Alone, that’s without the design laid on top of it. Is there anyway that the file size can be shaved down? Is the component the only way of accomplishing this. Are there any other ways of creating a combo box that is smaller than the component?
