i just found a ‘bug’ in MX, when ever i try to save over something with a update, it freezes, and i lose all of my information:hair:
im not sure if it is a bug, but its bugging me:P

no searously, made a new footer, and i saved it over the recent one. then it went all white, and froze on me. 
i’ve had this happen when trying to overwrite files. You just have
to Save As and name it something else, delete the first one, and
rename it to what you want.

im using windows XP, home edition
yeah, my probs happened on XP as well. Probably nothing but
them 2 progs not talking to one another.

actually it happened to me, i have XP pro, i did what Unflux said

I get that about twice a week.
You get that **** “send error report” dialogue.
Looks like Windows just gets worse and worse with each release.
im the same as unflux…
sometimes when you do a file save as and try to overwrite the file the prog will freeze and you lose your current work…
done it so many times now that i save with a filename2 etc.
using windows xp pro here…
annoying thing but u get in2 the habit very quickly of saving as something else after going back over work that you spent hours doing…

BTW, just so you know, most of the time its not Windows’ fault for craches like that. Its the program’s fault for not properly working with Windows the way it should

Have you guys been downloading your windows updates??
i think i have it so they auotmatically update, but im not sure.
to those who don’t have it happen to them , do u update your windows?, maybe there is a window security issue or application issue thats fixed in the updates.
