Hi, I have just followed the kirupa.com tutorial on creating a Flash XML news ticker, which appears to work great on most computers. However it is not displaying on all computers, and this seems to be regardless of what browser is being used!
It is displaying fine on some Macs with Safari and Firefox, and fine on some PC’s with Internet Explorer (tested at 3 seperate locations). However both my personal Mac at home, and a clients PC will not display the XML, this is particualrly strange with the Macs as both the home and work ones are running the same OSX 10.5 and the same up to date browsers, and all have the newest version of flash installed!
The Flash itself appears to load ok as it displays the background/text etc of the flash file, **just the XML text is not loading. **
I’ve built the file using CS3 and followed the tutorial exactly so am very lost. Any help would be much appreciated!
