I have a website (dont we all) and wish to add a custom instant messenger to it. Throughout my search for finding ways to develope a real-time instant messenger ive noticed that there is no way to have a real-time php instant messenger and Java can, but I would have to learn java.
Because I have dabbled a bit in flash and actionscript I have decided to see what sort of alternative flash can provide me. I have seen flash websites that have real-time chatrooms and would like to do this in an instant messenger way.
Anyone want to contibute to some of the core coding and help me design this instant messenger or direct me to some useful material.
