Flash - php remote communication

what do i need to do in my server so it allows a flash application hosted externaly to submit data?, i know that the crossdomain.xml is used for allowing a external application RECIVE data but i want the application to also send data, because the crossdomain dont do anything for sending data access, i would love to hear how
