Flash Screensaver?

Anyone have any experience making a screensaver for a PC w/ Flash?

A friend of mine is attempting to do this, and asked me for advice. Although I do have experience w/ Flash and animation, I have never actually tried to impliment it into a screensaver. I know there are several programs available for $50-$200 to convert Flash files to a screensaver, but I"d like to avoid spending that cash if possible (especially since x-mas is around the corner!)

Anyone have any thoughts? The screensaver would be a simple cartoon w/ minimal animation. Nothing too extensive.

every one is searching for that (see a search here at kirupa´s forum on screensaver), but till now no one find a free soft for that:(

if u look on the links from kirupa on one of them sites u can get a free trial of sum saver progs when it plays it has a little advert load up then it goes and the saver cums on etc istn to bad would be worse if it stayed all the time but it doesnt
