I made my sprite (character) in photoshop and i am wondering how to get rid of the bground on the sprite when i use him on my game in flash. Right now he has a white square behind him. please help me
Saving it out of Photoshop as a png will preserve the transparency (File >> Save for Web).

you could also start a new file with a transparent background whcih is the solution i discovered and used.
