Hi - sorry if this has been covered already… I’m been looking all over the place…
I’m learning as I go along, so I really need some simple help with Flash Vars!!
I need to take a user from a html link to a specific anchor point in the Flash website… that’s easy enough. But the problem then is that the site is blank until it has loaded the relevant section. There’s a preloader at the start of the whole site, but if a person jumps right in, it appears that nothing’s happening for a while -which doesn’t look very good- then the page appears.
Is there a way to take the user to the first frame so that the preloader does it’s bit, and then use the flash vars command to check the link they had come from, and jump then to the relevant section?
