Hi,
Just bought myself a new laptop wich came with Vista as standard. The original plan was to wipe vista off and replace with XP however this didnt work because, I assume [assumption] as the XP boot disk does not recognise the Vista file system [/assumption].
Anyway, so I’m forced to endure windows new operating system and it is everything that I do not want it to be. What I want and I assume [assumption] everyone else wants [/assumption] from an operating system is a stable platform in which to run my chosen programs. Not an unstable bloated operating system that takes over and tries to do far too much and fulls to pieces ever so often.
The thing in question this time is to encode flash video with either the flash 8 or flash CS3 video encoders. It wont do it, it just freezes up then produces a 4kb empty file.
Its a brand new install, so reinstalling vista’s now gonna help. I ask you, whats the point spending £500 on a dual-core 2GB laptop if I cant even encode flash video.
ok rant over, thanks for listening…
