Hello, I was wondering if anyone can tell be if it is possible to use Flash inside of a Visual Basic Application? I don’t mean just playing a movie, that’s simple, rather embeding a Flash Program with buttons or ActionScript that can call different VB Procedures, or Subrutines. If anyone knows anything about this subject, please let me know. Thank you.
I guess no one has any experience on the subject… :*(
Howdy…
Try this one… http://www.macromedia.com/go/update_031703_flashvbpdf
Also, go to the Macromedia website and do the search with ‘Visual Basic’ to find more information…
Thanks a lot! I’ll print it out and read it today…
Oh, no… That’s not enough…
You will have to read that one and explain it us… :beam:
Ah… okay… it’s actually really simple… when I have more time, I’ll post something…
Do you think Kirupa would let/want me to make a Tutorial on the subject? After reading the above Document, I fully understand how to implement a Flash Movie into a Visual Basic Application, and allow the two to communicate with each other… If you think that people would be interested in the subject…:sigh:
wow… i sure am interested in such topics. is it for vb 6 or .net though? :q:
6 I haven’t messed with .Net yet.
cool, me too :beam:
i would appreciate it if you made a simple tutorial on integrating flash and vb together =)
Yes… Tutorial is always welcome and can help other people…
Um… can someone please explain the procedure for writing a tutorial? Is there a tutorial tutorial?
LOL. When I write a tutorial for Big K, I write it in a word document. I put little notes where pictures are supposed to be etc. Then you put everything (pictures, programs, text) into a .zip file and send it to kirupa@kirupa.com
thanks
I don’t know when I will find time to work on a tutorial… I have about 50 different things going on… between my site, my [URL=http://www.bahamutsoft.com/worldsrpg]game, and my job, I’m pretty busy… Hopefully withing a couple of weeks, I can type something really quickly… :sigh:
I have finally finished procrastinating, and made the tutorial I promised! YAY! I hope to see it on the site someday… :trout:
