We have two digital signage displays of which I’m being asked if we can add a weather widget on there. The software we use to display content has a pretty lame weather widget built in. But the software can display .swf files.
This does not need user interaction. It’s just a static display showing the current weather for a zip code. Is this something rather simple to create in flash? Or is this quite difficult?
• It would need to pull the weather for two zip codes (alternating back and forth every few minutes between those two cities)
• Need to display an animated graphic (already have the graphics) depending on what the weather actually is. (so if its sunny, it shows the animated sunny graphic)
That’s it. Any tips, advice, help on how to do this?
\I know my way around Flash a little bit but I’m pretty much a novice at it. So if this is out of my league I’ll either need help or will just have to skip it. :/
