I’ve got a problem relating to getting video to work with dynamic pageflip 3.32, a page flipping engine that uses XML to load pages (either JPGs or SWFs) dynamically (pageflip.hu).
Using the FLVPlayback component in CS3 I’ve set up an FLV video on the stage. When I load this as an SWF on its own, the video plays fine. However, when I load it dynamically using pageflip, where the video should be is replaced by a flashing FLV icon.
does anyone have any suggestions for how to get this working? I’ve had one thought - that the pageflip engine .swf uses ActionScript v2 and FLVPlayback requires ActionScript v3 - would that be a reason for the video to fail to load?
