Alot of online video players allow you to seek past the data you’ve loaded, and the video will just drop all downloaded data and start loading from the new point you just seeked to.
Is this something that can be achieved without using fms?
You can use red5.
But all in all, you need a streaming server. Be it red5 or FMS.
