FLV: Sorenson metadata bug

Hi,

Some years ago, we encoded a couple of .flv’s with the Sorenson pack. Unfortunately, the Sorenson pack contained one major bug, being that the injected metadata got screwed up: the width and height properties would both be set to the value of width, resulting in a square flv.
As most flv players - including mine - rely on the metadata to scale the video, this is a big one. I heard of a workaround that doesn’t use metadata, but I didn’t find any satisfying results.

Anyone have any experience with these kind of situations?

Thanks,

PS: Re-encoding the flv’s is apparently not an option, sadly enough.
