I want to use Flash MX to make icons for my livejournal, but they have to be in .gif, but when I convert the icon to .gif, it’s just one frame.
Can anyone help me?

it sounds like ur trying to make an animated gif and i dont think this can b done in flash. try fireworks or imageready
go to file, publish settings, click on the gif tab, on playback select animated and that should create a animated gif of your movie.
