Forum Bug

Hey Kirupa, I don’t know what’s up, but I noticed on some footers, buttons cause a flickering mouse.

I prevented mine by putting my footer within an iframe. It works SOMETIMES, but then other times it flickers again. It doesn’t flicker on my system, or at the full URL, just on the forum.

I noticed your footer, and comicGeeks footer does the same.

Any idea what is up with that?

hey, mind if i look at the fla for your footer that does that? i’m just curious…

Sure no problem. I don’t think it is my .fla file though, because it never used to happen before, I remember using comicGeeks and Kirupas footer before and that never happened. It is a recent thing. I would think it was my .fla if it was just my footer, but it isn’t :-\

Ok, It doesnt happen on Kirupas all the time, but it happens here…

This is weird :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m not sure why it happens lost…I’ll try to look into it

Thanks  I am glad it wasn’t just me though, I spent forever and a day trying to fix my footer, but it’s hard to test it when it works fine everwhere else :stuck_out_tongue:

Dan mentioned the iframe option, so I did that, and it works for the most part, although it still occasionally glitches.

This is a toughy because i’m sure it’s nothing you can just look at and be like “oh yeah, this is what it is”.

If it helps any, it seems it has been happening since the styles were implemented. :x

Yeah - that’s true…

:frowning:

I can’t place a finger on this problem. For example, mdipi’s footer (http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25355) is not showing any problems at all :frowning:

I went to that thread you posted Kirupa, and all the flash footers with links in them do it for me, including mdipis :-\

same here, but not in this thread…
