Forum error?

I was just trying to attach an .swf to my reply, but I got an error saying the file is not a valif .gif or .jpg, whereas in the post reply page the instructions below the attach file box say: “Valid file extensions: gif jpg swf png txt zip bmp rar cpp fla”
