I would like to have two items one in the background that is in focus and the one in the foreground that is blurred. Then I want the one in focus to go out of focus and then the one in the forground to go focused. Is there any way to do do a gausian blur in vector.

The only method I can think of is do the guasian blur in a program like photoshop and bring it into flash.
Then have the images on seperate layers and have them fade in and out on top of each other.
If you want it to be vectorized then you can use the trace bitmap feature under Modify, but it’s a bit tricky to use and it will also increase your file size as well…
