Hello smart people,
I could sure use a formula – long forgotten, if I knew it at all, from geometry or possibly trig, regarding how to determine the length of a side of a right angle triangle when the known quantities are 1) the length of one side of the right angle and 2) the angle opposite the unknown side of the right angle. I’ve made a diagram to illustrate my question:
Can someone fill me in on the formula needed to calculate this? Thanks!
