Get movie width and align objects

Hi,

I want to put some objects in the left margin of the movie and others on the right. I’m trying to get the movie width using action script but I don’t know how to do this. Is the movie width on the screen and not a movieclip width.

The movie WIDTH in the HTML file is with 100%. This is why I have to align the objects when the movie is loaded. The screen can be at 800 or 1024 pixels.

Width of the movie itself can be gotten in a number of ways. The easiest is to go to “view” menu, and choose “vew rulers”. The other way, if you’re just looking for the info, is to open the “modify” menu, and choose “modify movie”. In there you can set the dimensions of the stage.
