Geturl framesets and java script?

Couple of questions here just thinking out loud…

  1. Do you think using a html frame set in combination with [font=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][size=2]“getURL[/size][/font]” is a bad idea?

For example:

  1. Is using Javascript a better idea than the above?

For example:
http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/centered_popup.htm

Java script just seems to be so cranky and not want too work?
For example pop up blockers , xp security features, mac platforms all that mess?

  1. Also does any one have anything to say good or bad about full screen in flash?
