In this image there is a slight color change on the red circle giving it a glare effect I really like. Could someone point me to a tutorial or effect name so that I could find a tutorial on it?

are you talking about the slight chromish reflection or the little glow ?

Yes but it’s not a button it’s a slight differation in color from the top to the bottom.
