When I double click on a button , graphic, movie clip, etc. to open it, the edit screen opens in super slow motion, taking about 8 seconds. This is very frustrating and I do not know how to fix it. I know it is not a memory problem, as my comp is new and has plenty of RAM. You can actually see the dashed box getting larger an smaller when you open up the symbol and then go back to the main scene. This does it in every .fla file and only on Flash 8. :} Thanks for any help offered.:}
