Global Project

Hi guys…

I have been working on a new project…

Basically its a content manager with a flash front end.

http://83.104.129.46/ourminisite/sitesetup.aspx this is the url to the content manager…

I know its looks poor in netscape… it still works though… something to do with .net and sizeing webcontrols.

You can use the form to set the properties of a flash site…
ie images,menus,text,colours,sizes.

I have thrown together a quick front end to view the results

So what am I looking for…

I need 8 more developers … alread got me and another

To create 5 front ends each… that will give us a total of 50 front ends for the user to choose from…

In return we all get to benefit from being able to sell this project to our clients…

just think… to create a new site for a client all you need to do is

1.get domain for them
2.get the host
3.copy and paste.
4.use the form to change the info to match your client.

and then let the client update it themselves… If they get bored of one design they can choose another…

I would like to get a lot of developers so that we have a wide range of styles… I am sure there will be a design of a site that I create that you will not like and vice versa - but its not about what we like its about the client having the choice…

the back end is in asp.net with an access database… If it stops working its because its on my pc at home and not a live server… so I may be working on something…

the data is delivered to flash using xml… and the images are all passed using .net with a cool way of resizing… try uploading a bmp… or a gif… it will load into flash because it gets converted to a jpg.

Eventually on the style page clients will be able to choose from a list of sounds for their buttons and background loops…

Choose a background for the page and a drop down with a list of all the flash front ends… thought of showing a thumbnail for each…

so give it a try and send me an email - your thoughts suggestions and most of all your interest in joining…

Thanks for your time

John
