Glow with TweenMax Question

Question:

I put a glow on a button with TweenMax:

TweenMax.from(btnNext, .5, {glowFilter: {color:0x0098ff, alpha: 0.6, blurX:45, blurY:45, strength:10, quality:3}});

This makes the button glow on and off when pressed. When I test it out it works for the first press and with each press of the button after the effect becomes less and less. Do you know why this is or if I should be doing something different?
