Aight so for spring break I’m going to Niagra Falls and Toronto… fer about 4-5 days. I was wondering whats the interesting stuff to do in Toronto? I’ve never been to Canada myself so I have no idea what to do there, but I’m still excited! :beam:
where you from??
California, USA.
I’ve lived in toronto all my life (30 years). Great city. Your coming at the perfect time - the weather is finally starting to warm up. It’s a very metropilitan city. Great restaurants, bars, nightlife, events, all that good stuff.
There is so much to do - you can’t go wrong!
Could you be more specific? I’m not really interested in the nightlife, I’m coming with my parents and I’m only 16.
Although, restaurant suggestions wouldn’t go amiss
DALER MEHNDI! Oi Chakade!!!

when i went to niagara falls with my family, we went to see the imax theatre, which played a niagara falls related movie, we of course saw niagara falls. and we also saw skylon tower. http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&lr=&q=skylon%20tower&sa=N&tab=wi it looks really cool from the top. we also saw white water walk, floral clock, and maid of the mist ([URL=“http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&lr=&q=maid%20of%20the%20mist&sa=N&tab=wi”]http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&lr=&q=maid%20of%20the%20mist&sa=N&tab=wi) have fun.
Thanks, thats the kind of description I was looking for. What about Toronto?
In Niagara Falls - you obviously will see the falls, the IMAX theatre is okay, you should hit Niagara Fallsview Casino, not just gambling there - good food and shopping plus a great view of the falls.
In toronto, #1 tourist attraction is the CN Tower. You could go to a blue jays game at the rogers centre - tickets are very cheap. As far as areas go - yorkville is great - good shopping/restaurants and nice walking area. College street (littly italy is nice too) - great restaurants all along the street. If your looking for shopping then queen street and bloor street is the place to be.
As long as your in the downtown core (bloor to king) and west of yonge street (the longest street in the WORLD) you’ll be ok.
Just don’t waste your time visiting the american side of niagara falls
kydee6039 - thanks, ill be sure to check some of that out. dunno if i can cover all that in a day but i’ll definetely give it a shot.
Kay - Yeah, we’re staying on the Canada side 100% of the time.
edit:// Whats the drive time from Niagara to Toronto?
'Bout an hour and a half.
Be sure to go up the CN tower and catch a Leafs game. Preferably a Leafs vs. Flames game so you can watch Toronto get destroyed
you’re lookin at around 2 hours, give or take.
Yeah, Bloor, Queen, and Younge streets are where it’s at, lots of cool shops there, especially on Queen St… CN Tower is kinda cool, you get to stand on a glass floor that’s, like, higher than a skyscraper and stuff, but it’s expensive to get in it and loses its novelty after like 15 minutes.
Whats the CN tower? Sounds like a big attraction…
Oh nothing, just the tallest building in the world
Whats the CN tower?
i was actually going to show him the cn tower, and got this http://www.the-rocketman.com/dar/Dar%20Jumping%20off%20CN%20Tower%20top%20shot.jpg  but here’s the cn tower: http://www.iciworld.com/html/pics/cn-tower.jpg
Doesnt look that tall. Psh.
