Can anyone recommend any good flash mx 2004 books that guide you through building a complete site with flash from start to finish? most of the books I’ve seen only deal with the basics or jump all over the place. I need a book that just concentrates on building sites with navigation and all the other tricks.

My suggestion is for you to check out every free tutorial that kirupa.com offers. That’s what I have done, and I think it is a good start.
Then, when you feel that you’ve got some knowledge, go buy a book like Colin Moock’s ActionScript for Flash MX - Definite Guide or something like that.
