I’m not into the big Hollywood shannaigans. But I have to say Earth, Wind, and Fire was funkadelic.
I started watching it now ahmed
i was watching it, the outkast preformace was amazing. but i got bored wiht it, so left after that.
Hey mdipi, congrats on 7000 posts
I don’t watch those kinda things. Awards should mean nothing, you should get enough self-gratifacation from making music…
I was planning on watching it, but it’s delayed by 5 minutes…so I figure I’ll just get the updates from the Net instead That and nobody I like a lot performing/winning at this show…except for Mikhail Gorbachev who shared his award with Fmr. Pres. Clinton and that other person I had never heard off!
I kinda agree with Colin but I think its nice to have something you worked hard on be appreciated by others, whether your peers or by fans.
I loved the funk segment.
Disliked 50-Cent’s rude interjection into another artist’s spotlight.
Justin Timberlake for all of the stuff going on put on a pretty good performance.
Beyonce - man… that girl can sing!
i still don’t get it, why was 50 on-stage exactly?
He didn’t agree with who won. He was in the same category as Evanescence in “best new artist” or something. He didn’t win, so he decided to parade up on stage and steal the moment for himself, “pimp-walking all over it…” It was sick, embarassing, and just plain rude. The lead Evanescence singer handled herself quite well though.
finally congrats to kylie, you have done me proud and the rest of australia!
fk 50 cent and all those pimp hard cts. With the homie accents and crap on stage. blah blah blah.
hehe, go Evanescecne! Amy is an excellent vocalist ive havnt seen in a while and linkin park :thumb:
edit: still hanging with my footer though
Is this on now? Does anyone know who won the Grammy for the Hard Rock, Metal and Alternative categories if there are any?
Robert Randolph and the Family Band stole the show in the House of Eternal Funk.
You Evanescence fans should check out Lacuna Coil. very similar band, except Lacuna started a 6 years earlier.

I thought at award shows you gave out awards but not the grammys. They gave out 5-6 awards through the night and had 19 performaces. It is more a excuese to ahve a big music show. The performaces where good but it is hardly an awards show at this point. The majority of the awards where given out the night before so you will have to check onlne to see who actualy won anything.
It was nice to see the big tribute to funk. Geroge Clinton and the P funk where funktastic. Earth wind and fire was awswome.
Oh and Evanescecne you won’t even hear of by neaxt year. My g/f bought there disc and every song is the same **** thing. They better do some major improvments or they will dissapear faster then you can say Flash in the pan.
Beyonce is such an entertainment whore. I hate her so much.

I did love the Outcast performance…the only thing i disagree on is giving a bunch of Grammys to dead people…it’s not fair to the artists who are still alive and kicking
If you are nomintated for a grammy and some one in your catagory dies you are pretty much screwd odds wise.
I thought the grammys were pretty boring. 3 and a half hours and that didn’t even count the preshow stuff.

Are you suggesting that a musician is no longer relevant once they die? Jimi might have a thing or two to say about that. I liked the fact that they gave credit to some rather unknown musicians who did have an impact on music, and went previously unacknowledged.
