Graphic loading bar

I’m looking for some help creating a “graphic” preloader that I’ve seen on some sites. I don’t have any examples but what I’m thinking of is instead of a loading bar a graphic reveals itself as the site is loaded. So at 50% you see half the graphic, etc. Thanks!
