Gravitational Scrolling Effect on Dynamic Text?

I have seen on lots of sites when you scroll up or down, the text or content scrolls in a gravitational manner. Like when you scroll and let go, the content smoothly stops rather than a hault.
Here’s what I mean:

How easy is this to implement on a dynamic text box using the standard scrollbar component? Is there a tutorial or .fla that I can check out?

It involves making your own scroll bar which is sorta complicated. I don’t think you can do it with the components.

Oh thank you lost. It would have taken me ages to dig that bastard up.

Thanks guys…only prob is that it doesn’t support dynamic text. I can live without it for a while. Appreciate the link though :slight_smile:

Sure it does jtesp. But dynamic text doesn’t work under a mask UNLESS you embed the font outline (right click, open properties panel, click on “Character…” button)
