Hey, I’ve noticed at the American-Dad.com website that their forum runs off the same system as KF. However, they have this wicked “Shop” section where you spend “credits” on upgrading your account.
You earn credits by posting to the board and mods can give credits to anyone they see fit. Then, you spend them on things like allowing you to change the way your username is displayed etc.
I think this would be wicked for KF as we could have competitions and stuff where these credits could be given away as prizes etc. Take a look at this page: http://www.american-dad.com/forum/ushop.php
You have to be a member for almost everything at that forum though so I’m not sure if you’ll be able to view that page. Let me know if you can’t. Some of the options seem a bit OTT but the concept behind it is really clever I think. It must be a plugin any vBulletin users can install…
