Guestbook help

i’ve download and tried the xml guestbook from this webpage and it can work 50%. the problem is when i open it, it display the message content. the 2 buttons down there which are previous and next button did not show out. i put the show amount of message is 10 and when it have 11th message, it should have two pages. but it did not show 2 pages and dun have the next button. can anyone help me wif it?
