Hailstorm (?) or shotgun(?) graph

this is what I have http://avgifter.com/forum/441lrfstar.asp , (press Visa to see the animation) not flash but it works although it is built by 200 manual made animations!!!. Now I would very much like to improve this so a visitor could choose a company from the combobox and immeadetly the corresponding point starts moving, glowing etc. Does anybody know a good point to start searching for a newbe?
