I AM CREATING AN ANIMATED GIF BANNER / 336 BY 280 AND ITS HAS TO STAY UNDER 25K
THE BANNER IS JUST TEXT BUT IT KEEPS EXCEEDING THE LIMIT. EVEN IF I KEEP IT UNDER 50 FRAMES ITS PASSING THE LIMIT. ANY SUGGESTIONS?:q:
why GIF and not flash?
hey man perhaps you’ve got into the wrong world. this is Flash MX forum not for GIFS. But anyways, I suggest you should do the animation in flash. 
If you want to keep file sizes down you will need to adjust the colors palette. You may be using 256 colors atm… Lowing the amount of colors used will also decrease file size.
