If it’s okay, I’d like to ask for some help.
My team is trying to create a multi-level dropdown menu. We’re having a problem where one dropdown menu seems to be masking the other.
We have two separate files, DDMenu.fla and Dynamic.fla, and we attempted to combine them into one file called Buttons.fla. In Buttons.fla, If you click on “Level Select,” you’ll see two buttons, one untitled and one called “Default Levels” drop down. Clicking on “Default Levels” causes a drop down menu to appear, with a list of clickable levels (don’t worry about clicking on them, they load from external XML files). However, when you click on the untitled button, the black rectangular menu that SHOULD show up does not. You can see in the Dynamic.fla file that clicking on the button brings up a menu. That’s what we want in the combined file.
We noticed that deleting masks and moving the untitled button layers from the mask layer caused the menu to show up, but we want it to be masked until the button is clicked.
Any suggestions/ideas? We have been at this for a few weeks and are totally stumped as to how to fix the issue. Thanks!
