HDD corrupt?

Hi,

my PC is acting really weird.
I know that there is a corrupt section somewhere as every so often something gets mucked up.
e.g. i switched my pc on today and the graphics drivers were nowhere to be seen! :red:

Is there a program that will find the corrupt section and “flag” it so other programs don’t try and use/read/write to the corrupt part? :hangover:

please help as it is seriously annoying!!! :*( :a: :frowning:

Sk8ing

:hangover:

if you’re using windows xp

go to my computer
right click on your C: drive and select “properties”

click on tools tab up top and then click on the “check now” button under error checking.

put a check mark next to both of the options (automatically fix errors and scan for bad sectors)…you’ll get a prompt to reboot

reboot and let checkdisk do it’s thing! hope this helps
